Zaphir, the Blue King, is a Blue Dragon who turned into a human through means that are yet unknown. Sixteen years before the start of the story, the Blue King slaughtered the Wistar family and made himself king. His half-dragon kids go about Lavelle, fighting for power.
A resistance, the Retainers of Wistar, is trying to overthrow the king and free the kingdom, starting with killing the princes.
